Thankfully, it was just a 24-hour virus. We've made it through and have yet to catch the Pig Fever. Fiona's back at school, and I'm enjoying my Swine Flu Vacation.
Next on my list- Russ has offered to host our school's Thanksgiving dinner at our house. Big of him, considering he's not on Swine Flu Vacation and clearly is busy at school. Guess who is doing the planning, shopping, cleaning, and cooking? Actually, it's not that much. The teachers coming will bring desserts and wine, and the turkey is being delivered (along with gravy, rolls, and sauerkraut- a true Thanksgiving dish) already cooked. So potatoes (regular and sweet), corn, cornbread, and vegetables. I think I can handle that. Any advice?
